I’ve been focusing on Rust for some years, with some open source libraries and some writing and other community involvement.
I’ve written libraries like anymap and symlink. I was also a very early mover in the Rust HTTP space (I wrote the first de facto standard library, rust-http, back in 2013), though I haven’t been involved there for some years.
I’ve written articles like Why your first FizzBuzz implementation may not work: an exploration into some initially surprising but great parts of Rust (though you still may not like them).
At present I’m offering Rust training (contact me if you’re interested) and heading in the direction of making training materials focused on deep understanding of the fundamentals and distinctive points of Rust.
I’m also skilled in the web in general—frontend, backend and more.
Sponsorships will lead to me spending more time working on open source work and public writing.
I’m also available for hire for mentoring, training and general contract work.
