Hi! I'm Sofi! I'm a cryptographic developer and implementer, from Quito, Ecuador in LatinAmerica, that now lives in Lisbon, Portugal. I used to lead the design and implementation of the Off-the-Record (OTR) messaging protocol, in its version 4, and now I work for Brave! I work also on implementing cryptographic algorithms, like ed448, OPRF, and more! I also work on helping stop gender-based violence with the usage of tech-tools. I research around deniability, abuse, and user-experience. I also organize events such as the Secure Messaging summit. I'll use the sponsorship to continue the work on OTR and to foster the research I do.
