Thanks for your interest in sponsoring Cryptomator. Cryptomator began as a small project for our own personal use but it has grown over time and is now downloaded over a million times. As such, we are now dedicating all our time to this important tool.

After winning the CeBIT Innovation Award back in 2016, we founded a small company for the sole purpose of ensuring the future of Cryptomator. We think that the right to privacy is essential and Cryptomator is one important tool for digital self-defense. Our philosophy is to ensure this right for as many people as possible, which is why we decided to make it a pay-what-you-want donationware.
