New Homepage Design: what do you think ?

Hey everyone,

I've just revamped the SQLPage homepage to give it a fresh, elegant look and to better explain why building apps with SQL is awesome. I enjoyed making it a lot and I'm happy with the changes, but I'm wondering if it might come across as too corporate for our open-source vibe.

I'd love to hear your thoughts:

• First Impressions: Does the new design resonate with you?

• Suggestions: Anything you'd tweak to better capture our project's spirit?

• Key Info: When you first visited the site, what details about SQLPage were most helpful? Was anything missing or unclear?

• Showcase Your Work: Have you built any cool apps with SQLPage that you'd be okay with us featuring on the homepage?

Home page is not showing that project is a open-source.

Showcase the SQLPage project is very good idea it shows what you can do with it.

Homepage looks amazing, I built the Bompard Paris 360° monitoring tool with SQLPage, happy to showcase it :)

It looks very good indeed. Here are my suggestions:

1. If you click one of the links ('Download', 'Documentation', 'Examples'...), you go from the dark-themed home page to a light-themed background page. It's not easy on the eyes. I am running Firefox on Arch. My default Gnome theme is set to 'Dark Style'. Maybe the default theme is correctly detected on other browser/OS combinations.

2. Is this site build with SQLPage? If yes, I would put 'Build with SQLPage' somewhere in the page, maybe at the bottom.

3. If I click on the button 'Download SQLPage for Linux' in the Download page, I get a binary with version '0.32.1' (sqlpage.bin --version). However, the Documentation page is for version '0.33.0'. This might confuse newcomers.

This project is getting better and better. Congratulations!

Looks great, well done! Very excited about working more with the platform.

Nit-picking mind points to the following things for me that would potentially look at:

• Sparseness on desktop views
• Maybe a link to relevant doc/example in feature sections
• Instead of negative word (boring), use simple or advanced as hey, SQL is not boring if the whole platform relies on it!
• A link somewhere to (good) SQL tutorials?
• Really highlight the need to use only ONE language instead of multiple to create a complete webapp
• As the project is dependent entirely on SQL, showcase some of SQL power and the DBMS that SQLPage works with
• optionnally should be optionally

I updated the top tagline to include "open-source". But if you have suggestions for something better, tell me !
I also added "Built with SQLPage" and a link to the source code of the website.
I updated the last image to include a screenshot together with the code.
Fixed spelling and wording.

When we click on example code it goes to github why not run live demo of the examples.
