Vertical Taskbar with ExplorerPatcher not compatible

I am currently using github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher to regain the functionality of a vertical Taskbar in Windows 11. Since this tool seemingly somewhat supports it i gave it a shot but sadly every time i open the search window via button or shortcut it appears at the bottom of the screen with only a very small part visible. Extending this window is possible but kinda defeats the purpose of easy access search. Is there any way to fix this through some config or making the window appear at a fixed position?

When using EverythingToolbar in combination with ExplorerPatcher it is recommended to use the deskband instead of the launcher icon. https://github.com/srwi/EverythingToolbar#deskband
The deskband supports vertical taskbars.
