Problem

Although the method AppStateChange in api/geth_backend.go seems to be covered by a test it wasn't fully covering all the cases and a bug was discovered with the media server when the app would go to background and come back up.
ref : status-im/status-mobile#15050

We need to add more tests to cover the functionality completely.
