swc src -d dist --copy-files puts files in dist/src (after update)

I recently update everything to the latest versions, and now it does this different thing than it did before. How do I get back the old behavior, which seems to follow from that command more reasonably?

I had the same issue. Try adding --strip-leading-paths to your build command, this solved it for me
