USB-C port on right side of oryp11 detects USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 device as USB 2.0 #472

  • BIOS version: 2023-06-22_e5c3632
  • EC version: 2023-06-22_e5c3632
  • OS: Pop!_OS 22.04
  • Kernel: 6.4.6-76060406-generic

USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 device detected as USB 2.0 device in USB-C port on right of oryp11

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open terminal
  2. Run sudo dmesg -w
  3. plug USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 device in to USB-C port on right of oryp 11

Expected behavior

Dmesg should show system detects new SuperSpeed Plus Gen 2x1 USB device

Actual behavior

Dmesg output shows system detects new high-speed USB device

Additional Information

The port also transfers data at USB 2.0 speeds.
