Circle X and Square X do not have the same X size

Use cases

I'm trying to find a nice icon to "clear" an input form.
If you look at the Github UI, you will notice this icon to the right for example:

Tabler Icon has a similar one, but the X is surprisingly small, and when used in an input field, it is barely recognizable:

Surprisingly, the X in the Square X icon is larger than the X in the Circle X icon.

versus:

Would it be possible for the Circle X to be adjusted to match the size (i.e. bigger), or provide a Circle Big X icon?

Design ideas

Seems to me that, at least for the filled version, a bigger X does fit inside the circle...
