Great,you have finished the ti scope;
The reason is that we cannot create a standalone window in the Colab;

There are two ways to export visual results of your program to images. The first and easier way is to make use of ti.GUI. The second way is to call some Taichi functions such as ti.tools.imwrite.

so you can use this code instead of gui part

num_frames = 100

for i in range(num_frames):
    paint(i * 0.03)
    ti.tools.imwrite(pixels, f'frame_{i:04d}.png')

after that image will be saved in the left file folder;

or you want show in jupyter :
