Hi, and thanks for this project!
In my use case I want the comments alignment to just be ignored, I expected setting align_comments to false would achieve that, but what happens is that it de-aligns aligned comments.
Shouldn't ignoring be the behavior with false
If you agree I can submit a PR addressing this
