I can see the displayed player's nickname at the top if they are wearing item thief_hood

You need to make sure that the nickname is not displayed in the Jade mod if the player is wearing this item thief_hood.

I've implemented a fix in Thief Tweaks (a separate mod, not officially connected to Abnormals in any way). I'd ordinarily make a PR to Environmental directly, but given that this is for Jade (a third party) I don't know if the mixin required would've benefitted the mod in the long term.

Given that Thief Tweaks enables other potentially-unwanted features by default, you will have to set everything besides "Jade compat" as false in the config. I won't link the add-on, as I don't want to come across as advertising. Either way, that should technically address your issue. Take care m8
