How feature visualisation works?

How we can understand how the visualization of features or neurons work? That is ok with the input visualization, but I cannot understand what they show in hidden layers.

Hey @M-Amrollahi please check out (by auditing) Andrew Ng coursera videos related to neural networks. He explained very well about the internal workings of neural network.
