Description

https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/metrics-router?topic=metrics-router-getting-started

Use IBM Cloud® Metrics Routing to configure the routing of platform metrics generated in your IBM Cloud account.

The VSI on VPC landing zone Deployable Architecture already supports an add_atracker_route boolean that creates an atracker COS target and a route for auditing events.

VSI for VPC publishes important platform metrics regarding the VSIs; a Monitoring instance and metrics-router route should also be created as part of the DA.

New or affected modules

  • I believe a new metrics-router module needs to be created.

I have picked up this issue - instead of creating a new repo ,I will use this repo https://github.com/terraform-ibm-modules/terraform-ibm-observability-instances and create a metrics routing module.

In the deep-dive call on 27/8, decided to create an epic for this and track that in AHA. Also, needs more information on the requirement (urgency).
