The games use a custom character table for japanese text. Some of them, such as Persona 3, 4 & 5s were manually mapped out by a few skilled volunteers. Obviously this can be prone to errors. If you find any errors, please comment in this issue thread.

I mapped the charcter table for Traditional Chinese text, Persona 5 PS4 Traditional Chinese version using it.

@lightfirst Thank you!. I added it in with commit 7b77972. Use 'p5chi' as the encoding in the compiler to use it.

Tsvs for Simplified Chinese, from Persona 5 royal XGP version's FONT0.fnt. Not guaranteed to be 100% correct as they are not manually mapped. Scripts to generate them also in the repository.

Hi. There seems to be some issues with the character table of SMT3/DDS.

The conversion for English characters and Japanese Kana characters is fine after decompilation, but the conversion for Japanese Kanji characters produces incorrect results.
I confirm that it's not just my issue, as the decompiled script files of SMT3 uploaded on the Amicitia Wiki are also incorrect. For example, in the file "Nocturne/DDS3.IMG/battle/script/nego.bf", on the line 11, the correct Japanese phrase should be "死んで詫びろや!" instead of "絢んで謹びろや!".

Hi guys! I'm going through Persona 5 Royal, Japanese Steam version at the moment with both OCR and Agent enabled. I'm recording the errors in this document:
