Search function excludes objects.yml

We noticed recently that when we run a search in Quire catalogues it doesn't search the tombstone information from the objects.yml data file. From my understanding there isn't an existing way in Hugo to search data files but I'm hoping someone might have an idea of how to fix this without copying all of the tombstone information to the content markdown files.
