@sumonto, it looks like the -w flag calls some Applescript which might be the culprit. Unfortunately this is not a feature I use nor do I have a multiple monitor setup to test this. If anyone does have multiple monitors and can test a fix I am happy to review.
Just made a pull request that should fix this. Not sure how reliable using the sqlite database is for altering desktops, but works on my machine with 2 extra monitors and multiple spaces.

It does a good job for 1 monitor
