so i continue to be attracted to the idea that the room changes over time regardless of user activity, (think seasonal weather effects, night/day cycle, etc). a simple one may be plants that require watering occasionally.
for plants, i think there would just be an ordered list of images and expirations.
"watering" the plant is really just rolling back the expiration timing. or similar, an HP system that takes damage over time.
how would you water them? the very simplest is just by clicking on it, to reset expirations.
more interesting would be a small interaction menu letting you have the option.
i also like the idea that you could cheer water emoji to water plants.
most interesting would be that you have to actually get water and bring it to the plant but that's a LOT more work, plus probably needlessly complex for something that's just supposed to be "oh fun, there's an interaction here".
