Please consider adding support for Nordic Semiconductor nRF9160 based cellular modems https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Low-power-cellular-IoT
They are small, very low power devices with broad wireless certification.
A number of 3rd party modules are available: https://www.nordicsemi.com/Nordic-Partners/3rd-party-modules#cellular
An online tool for power estimation is available: https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/nordic/power/w/opp/3/online-power-profiler-for-lte
