Hi @josecelano @da2ce7 @WarmBeer @cgbosse @mario-nt. Here are some examples of what we discussed yesterday. The first one is the most recent iteration from Cameron's suggestion. There are further examples here here and any suggestions are welcome. I removed the title to make it shorter but can change the wording/readd the title as needed. If you would like something to indicate when it was posted, I can also add this.
I'll be away for the next two weeks but will still have access and can make the changes/PR as required.

#General comment:

• Usually less is better.

##Menu:

###Repo visit encouragement:
It is not necessary since we have already the menu setup. If a developer wants to check out the repo he will recognize the GitHub icon.

###Menu icons:
It is good to see the both the GitHub icon and the Blog menu link here. I think this is a must to have these two. So I would make a pull request with just these.

###Blog box:

• This is not the place for it .
• I think that the larger boxes are not good because they have too much text so as for box size I think the first image box is the best.
• See my comments further down.

###Landing page blog section:

• For me it looks strange to have the Blog section on the landing page set up this way in the middle of the small blogpost excerpts, etc.
  
• I think that the position should be at the bottom. under the contribute section. My logic is that the blog is less important than the contribute section. However it is a good end and may trigger curiosity. In a way the less you say the better, 4 the four boxes it does not exactly trigger the curiosity in my opinion.
• I would have it centered and highlighted in some form here.
• Also this is the place to display the latest blog referral.
• Here I would also not include any of the blog excerpts I would just add a blogpost counter, such as 12 blogposts.

###Latest Blog Box:

• In my opinion from looking at other websites I have encountered several where such a box flies in from the side.
• I think that it should not be fixed but slide in from the side and slide out again if it is not clicked.
• It could fly in from the right side once the user scrolls down towards the Torrust Blog post or it could just be highlighted
• Anothr option could be that it is part of the Landing Blog section.

##Footer:
Here the Blog icon should also show for consistency.
