I use the app for emotional logs. When I'm sad I write "sad" when I'm excited I write "excited" and so on. The goal is to see: what feelings I had on every day and access which day was bad and why so.

But things get confusing. I can't know the days, just how long I've taken note of it. And when I have 20 notes its not easy to just read the timer and estimate if it was yesterday or Sunday.

I also plan on using the app to note my little accomplishments (walked the dog, took a sun bath, did my chores on time etc).

Maybe the app is not for ne, if so I'm sorry to waste your time.
Keep up the good work and take care.

[Idk how to labble stuff on here so I put mine on the title]

Thanks for creating the issue!

  1. In the list of notes, each day is separated by a small heading like "February 17":

    Image

Did you notice this heading? If not, then maybe we should highlight it more.

  2. Regarding the goal to analyze which day was bad and why so: I'm wondering what new feature of the app could help with that. A few quick ideas:

    • Jump to a particular date.
    • Choose an emotion like "excited" and then see all the days when you were excited.
    • Somehow compare different days.
    • Have some kind of timeline view.
    • Or calendar view.

Is any of these ideas relevant? Do you have another idea?

  1. No i did not notice it. B4 changing it maybe you should wait other people give their opinion, maybe i was just sloppy.

  2. I think it would be cool to just refresh your notes everyday. Like: day 1 moth 1 on the left top part > i made 5 notes today > i can see today's date and the notes > tomorrow my app is blank and it shows on top day 2 month 1.
It could be a small button saying view tyoe or interface or style when you click it appears "Default View or Continuos View or Complete View" and below it "Day View or Solo View or Today"
