The current workaround for using the unprivileged keys in kernel is messy. We shouldn't use this past current models, a preferably, we could also upgrade storage to use privileged keys on T3T1 and T3B1 too.
Ideally, we would like to get rid of this code all together, but that would require some intermediary code for upgrading purposes.
