Errors with snapshot config

Firstly, THANK YOU! This addon is incredibly awesome. Thank you for the time and effort put into developing this.

I'm having an issue with the snapshot piece. I know it's something I've configured wrong, but I'm stumped as to the cause. I'm getting these errors in my logs:

ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.helpers.template] Template variable error: 'None' has no attribute 'attributes' when rendering 'http://192.168.1.72:8123{{ states.camera.front_door_snapshot.attributes.entity_picture }}'
ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.generic.camera] Error parsing template Template("http://192.168.1.72:8123{{ states.camera.front_door_snapshot.attributes.entity_picture }}"): UndefinedError: 'None' has no attribute 'attributes'

Here's what I have in configuration.yaml

Any idea what I have wrong here?

UndefinedError: 'None' has no attribute 'attributes'

Since it's complaining that "None" has no attribute I'm guessing that the "back_door_snapshot" entity does not exist. Did you enable snapshots in the config? Without that there won't be any snapshots to display. It's also possible that they are somehow just named differently than expected. If you go to developer tools in the HA UI and find the snapshot camera it should show the entity name and the state attributes which are the ones the template is trying to use. If you can't find them there, then the template won't be able to find them either.

Thank you! Revisited the documentation after reading your reply and it turns out I had the snapshot config set to ‘enabled’, which obviously isn’t an option 🤦‍♂️. I need to learn how to read. Thanks, again!

Don't feel too bad, using that config option was kind of a hackish workaround to allow setting the different modes. I'm finally working on state management so I'm hoping to make this config option runtime selectable in the future, with both a global setting and the ability to override on a per-camera basis.
