There is an issue when registering a new RFID card at the login window and not choosing a pin. If a triple size 10-byte card is used, it is registered fine and can be used to log in. But if a card with a smaller identifier is used and a pin is not added, the card will not work to log in. The rfid user information is added to secrets.bin but due to rfid value padding the card does not work to log in.
