Can a student not yet fully registered participate?

I just accepted admission into the CS department (MSc) for Fall 2023. I am an International student and am still in the middle of admissions processing and learning the ropes about the GWU community.

While working through your page, I learnt more about your research and bounties. I find these projects interesting and would love to become a contributor, and more ambitiously join your research group by resumption. I want to commit a lot of my free time to providing solutions. Can I also participate?
