Would reposition the ship with some fuel. Could have some cost so as to not be abused. Potential for "checkpoints" measured as absolute distance (x+y) so as to not lose progress completely (thematically checkpoints could be having approached a particular solar system, or gone through an asteroid belt, or whatever)
Pilot tokens:
Could have a set of attributes for cosmetics so they can be displayed. When mining Asteria could be burnt and replaced with a new token with those same attributes plus some other one that would reflect on a crown/trophy/whatever that reflects the achievement.
Collectibles:
Scattered through the map. Could boost rewards when mining Asteria if held? Could also improve the ship, I guess fuel capacity or maximum speed for now, but if additional traits are implemented could have more potential too.
Fuel:
Could be fuel-rich asteroids (deuterium, tritium something like that) that you can mine, to keep the theme.
Is the fuel capacity enough for multiple max speed movements? (range-autonomy)
Fuel efficiency could enable other strategies that running for the furthest fuel pellet you can reach. So as to not complicate things too much it shouldn't be mandatory to consider to succeed, more a min-maxing thing (maybe a BOOST modifier that gives you extra reach at a higher fuel cost would be simpler to understand? Maybe not to implement though, haha).
"Future" fuel pellets only available after X epochs to avoid fuel depletion?
What happens with an empty fuel pellet? Is it burnt so that it's no longer visible or could you arrive to one to find out there's no more fuel left? I understand they're not meant to be infinite
Bot workshop:
Once the game is approaching release, having some bot workshop session to provide some clues (or having a basic, inefficient bot that players can modify and customize) would make it more accesible.
Easter egg:
What if instead of burning the ship token it gets locked in a different Spacetime contract with some extra content/game/whatever, or as a cliffhanger for v2?

My 2cents for potential things to add!
