Input hook doesn't work when game window is focused (DiRT 4)

Overlay doesn't respond to input when game is focused (even in windowed mode). No special actions to reproduce, it's shown on the video.

Previously I've done recordings of DiRT 4 with older 5.0.4 version of plugin, but, honestly, I don't remember, have I encountered such problems before or not, but somehow it worked on older version before.

UPD. Just installed v. 5.0.4 and it instantly started working. So it's kinda new issue.
