@adamnovak couldn't we use the fragment_length_distribution field from the GAM to derive a reasonable default instead of requiring it specified as an input?

The fragment length distribution field is a string, and only generated by vg map, AFAIK. I think it's supposed to be for debugging. If we want to build things that rely on that annotation, we should change it to work with mpmap and also probably split it up into several actual numbers.
