Hey guys. Seems like a great project.
But can i just run this from chrontab and have it cast continuously from a folder of mp3's to a chromecast audio group? or am i missing something here?

Hello @kimasplund, if I'm understanding correctly, you should be able to use go-chromecast playlist <folder> https://github.com/vishen/go-chromecast#playlist-1. However I haven't used this functionality in a while so it may not work as expected. If it doesn't, let me know and I can look at fixing it, or altering it.

Oh actually yes that works. Just me being impatient and thinking its not working when it for some reason transcodes the mp3's before it plays them.
Transcode a few min, play the file, stops and transcodes next one, plays the file and so on.
-Does it need to transcode mp3's?
-Can it transcode in the background continuesly if needed?
-Will it rescan the directory?

and perhaps there is some timeouts happening?
