Hello,

I have a Logitech G510s and wanted to install this to change colours and show something on the display.
Unfourtunately my Keyboard freezes after some time, even after a reboot.
When i remove G510s everything is working fine again.
Im running on Linux Mint 21.1.

I hope you can help.

Thanks.

Edit:

I get this Error-Message in the terminal after running G510s:

***@mint-PC:~$ /usr/bin/g510s
G510s: found device 046d:c22d
malloc(): invalid next size (unsorted)

It's almost certainly the same problem as
#25
Unfortunately, I'm working right now and I don't have much time.
My quick guess would be that there were changes to the compiler or default settings and the package needs to be rebuilt.

You could try that:

apt source g510s
sudo apt build-dep g510s
cd g510s...
debuild -b -j5

I published a new package for Jammy (Mint 21.1) on the PPA.
It's only slightly likely to solve the problem, but I wont have access to an actual keyboard until, at minimum, August, which makes it less than ideal to debug.
Though I have narrowed it down to either the clock or the socket.

Let me know the results.

Thanks for the quick update!

I tried it but unfortunately it crashes with the same message.

After that i tried to run it with sudo rights. It worked for a couple of restarts without a problem, but then also crashed with the same message.
