This is my markdown rendering code:
def markdown(text) coderayified = CodeRayify.new(:filter_html => false, :hard_wrap => true) options = { :fenced_code_blocks => true, :no_intra_emphasis => true, :autolink => true, :strikethrough => true, :lax_html_blocks => true, :superscript => true, :tables => true, :highlight => true, :quote => true, :filter_html => false, :safe_links_only => true } markdown_to_html = Redcarpet::Markdown.new(coderayified, options) markdown_to_html.render(text).html_safe end
I want to add a custom method to replace some text, for example:
Links like
{-[another-link](https://goessomewhere.com)-}
should be replaced with
{<a href="https://goessomewhere.com" class="custom-link">another link</a>}
Does anyone have any idea how can I achieve this, especially now that I am already using a Renderer?
