Is this a new report?

Yes

System Info

Void 6.6.65_1 x86_64 GenuineIntel uptodate FF

Package(s) Affected

sddm-0.21.0_1

Does a report exist for this bug with the project's home (upstream) and/or another distro?

No response

Expected behaviour

SDDM is supposed to show buttons that restart/shutdown the system.

Actual behaviour

SDDM does not show buttons that restart/shutdown the system, installing the powerdevil package fixes this. This should not be neccessary, and the powerdevil package should be included as a dependency.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Execute sudo xbps-install sddm
  2. Set SDDM as the default login manager
  3. Reboot
  4. See that the restart/shutdown buttons are missing
