It seems uberzug link in repo is no more maintained.
Because of recent python updates, it no longer works in ranger.
There is another ueberzug on github, which is used by archlinux btw.
I think this fork should be in voidlinux repo.

Ueberzugpp can also be added to repository. But considering it as a complete replacement is not right imho.

I compiled latest ueberzug in ueber-devel and added into my system manually. It works as intended so far.
