I saw these lines in the changelog for curatedMetagenomicData 1.14.0.

  • WenC_2017 has been renamed ChengpingW_2017
  • WenC_2017 is deprecated and will be removed in the next release

It appears as though there was a misunderstanding of whether Wen or Chengping is the author's last name. However, the tsv files for WenC_2017 and ChengpingW_2017 appear to contain different samples. Why is this?

This confused me as well. It does seem that one table has the RA samples from bioproject PRJNA356102 and the other has the AS samples from bioproject PRJNA375935 both of which are coming from this one study. It would really benefit from someone having a closer look to clarify this.
