Sort articles by reading time #557
Comments
Having various sorting criteria is good, but filtering is sometimes more useful. For example, if you would like to read something between 10 and 15 minutes, you wouldn't want to sort by time and then scroll all the way past <10 minutes articles. |
Hi everyone. I was wondering if any work had been done on this suggested feature, as I would also enjoy this very much! (For example, it could be useful when you add a lot of things in your wallabag, but want to quickly read some articles.) I am less convinced however by @di72nn suggestion: it could be useful, but would maybe be a bit too big in the interface? Or it could be an "advanced search" separate feature? (maybe open an issue then) I would suggest using the sort icon to sort between sorting criteria, and have an icon to invert the sorting direction (or maybe to jump at the bottom of the list, which could have the same effect) |
Related to #42 (!) |
Hello, is there any chance this feature will be implemented soon (or #42) ? I think we could use the existing sorting icon in the interface (that sorts by date) to cycle between the modes (chronological, antichronological, shorter articles first, longer articles first). |
That'll probably have to go with/after #1014. That doesn't really say much about time though. |
I would like this feature as well... any progress on this please? |
Now we can sort articles by "aggregation date". Will be nice to add an option to sort by reading time because sometimes you don't have too much time to read.., Related #492
