Description

Per a very good PR suggestion, we need some better docs on how our user interface gets translated, so that new designers and developers joining can easily make changes.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Document our current process in docs
  • Reference the docs in the make check-translation script, so that CI failures will give devs a hint of what to do next
