TV sounds gets broken when Youtube opens in a sponsored video tiles

I have been experiencing a weird problem for a while. Sometimes when I open the Youtube app the sound on my LG TV with WebOS 3 just breaks. The Youtube app is not playing any sound, just the video and no other apps, like Plex play sound either or just break down completely not even playing video. Only the Live TV plays sound probably because it is not really an app.

What I need to to is to turn of the TV, wait for a while, turn int back on or just to a reboot for the audio to play again. Quite annoying.

I have been trying to narrow it down and it looks like this happens when the Youtube app opens with one of those sponsored video tiles focused, especially the huge one that covers the entire first row that sometimes appear. I think this tile just does auto play so maybe this is what breaks it.

One possible fix would be probably to block those sponsored tiles but I think this has been tried a few times in different PRs but never really worked.

This happens to be with 0.3.1, 0.3.2, 0.3.3.

My workaround is to go to games section on the left and back, then fast skip over the first ad tile to the desired video.
Is your video also sometimes played very small in upper left corner?
Do you sometimes hear the audio of your video if you exit it and are on the self playing ad tile?

The most common problem for me is video playing without sound but I get other problems as well sometimes. For example just black screen with no audio and no video and sometimes even something similar to what you mention, smaller video with artifacts and tearing.

Do you sometimes hear the audio of your video if you exit it and are on the self playing ad tile?

I sometimes hear the ad audio even when moving to another screen.
