Adaptive bitrate streaming with MPEG-DASH and HLS i great and works fine with playable. In certain cases it would nice to choose the bitrate manually like you do with the "Quality" setting on YouTube. Is this a feature you could consider in the future?

Hi. I can provide API for changing bitrate, but not sure we gonna have UI element for it. Is it would be enough for you?

Hi. Sorry for the late reply, but we decided to go for another player that has a UI for this via plugins. I still think this would be a good feature to implement though, but it's not an issue for me any more.
