kargo: API and UI broken since 0.6.0

Hello, we recently updated from kargo 0.5.1 to 0.6.0. Ever since then the API service which delivers the UI is broken and only delivers "404 page not found". This is also the case for the newest apk package kargo-0.8.7.1-r1
I looked into what changed and it seems like kargo no longer bundles the UI-Assets in the image but rather bakes them into the binary itself. I'm not go savy enough to debug and fix this. But this is the commit that seems to have broken the current build:
