Tray icon not working

Im getting the following error when i enable tray icon , is there anyway i can fix this

Hi, thanks for your feedback.

The non-functional tray icon is a known problem of wxWidgets/wxPython (which this app is based on) under wayland. Currently there is little I can do about that.

As a workaround you can run the app with the X11 backend by setting the GDK_BACKEND environment variable accordingly.

$ GDK_BACKEND=x11 rgb_config_acer_gkbbl_0

i have already tried
GDK_BACKEND=x11 rgb_config_acer_gkbbl_0
i do not get the error anymore when i enable tray icon but nothing shows up in waybar

Unfortunately tray icon support under different desktop environments is very inconsistent. If it's still not working for you then we have to assume the wxWidgets tray icon implementation to be incompatible with your setup.

I myself am not familiar with Hyprland and Waybar and I probably won't have time to look into those any time soon.
