Description
Scrolling and every other animation feels like a slideshow. This issue does not occur on the official web version. It feels like the application is capped to 60 FPS.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
scroll

Expected behavior
I expect scrolling and other animations to be smooth

Environment

  • Distro: EndeavourOS
  • Package: whatsapp-for-linux 1.6.5-1 from the AUR
  • Desktop Environment: Gnome on Wayland
