Describe whatever you want to be implemented in future:

Implement autorun support. Can be enabled/disabled in Settings.

I believe you can use background portal for this. It's intended for flatpak/snap sandboxed apps, but if I'm not mistaken, it works for non-sandboxed apps as well no, sadly it doesn't work properly for non-sandboxed apps.
