A client suggested an improvement on the Calendar Application (Pro), the improvement consists of :
Adding a new field, (summary), to the calendar event, the field is a plain text field (like the actual description), this field will be used to add a quick description of the event.
Make the "description" field editable using wysiwyg in order to allow the user to add more things on the event description like maps images, videos ... etc. The summary should be displayed only on the popup view and the event full description could be displayed only on the event page.

I'm not sure about this. I'm actually slightly against it as I feel it complicates things. Most calendar apps (including Google Calendar) ask only for event title and description. The problem with the summary is that it should be in sync with the description. I think most of the users will use either the summary or the description, but not both. If the problem is displaying a large description then we could extract automatically only the first part of it (e.g. first paragraph) to display on the calendar view (and display the full description on the event page).
