Super-key is not working properly in GNOME #3
Comments
Got the same problem, showkey is showing 135 key code along side with 123 to be pressed. |
Same here. Did you find any solution how to fix this, guys ? |
Untested, but you can try https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/377830/linux-hid-driver-for-primax-wireless-keyboards/#comment823354_403285 And adapted from this driver there is https://github.com/fabianbl/lenovo_professional_wireless_keyboard |
Fixing this issue: y-trudeau#3 (comment) Fix suggested here: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/377830/linux-hid-driver-for-primax-wireless-keyboards/#comment823354_403285 Tested, working.
@gregorydk the fork of fabianbl works perfectly ! Thank you very much. The last one thing that I observed is slow reaction to left ALT key. I use it quite often in combination with TAB (alt + tab) for switching between windows and now when I press alt and tab, tab is delivered sooner than alt so it inserts tab character instead ... I have no idea why and if it is caused by this "hackish solution" or something else. When I try to switch windows by pressing SUPER key + TAB, it works normally, fast. |
Normally the Super-key opens the Activities in GNOME but pressing the key does nothing. Using the key in combination with another key does work.
The keyboard experiencing the issue is a Lenovo Professional Wireless.
