The h5py==2.10.0 version used by the plugin is strict and old. A more relaxed package dependency is expected by conda-forge.

This dependency was set due to the change brought about the way layers are read in later version of h5py.

To Do:

Amend the file reading behaviour to make it compatible with newer version of h5py.
