generator.run is not a function from 2023 till now (24 Jan 2025) and I must downgrade to the v4
How to generate the project with this issue?

Let mark this project as DEAD and go back to the traditional npm/npx

On the contrary: Yeoman is more alive today than it's been in years! 🙌

See yeoman/yeoman#1779. We're picking maintenance back up and going through the backlog of issues.

We think we've found the root cause of the generator.run is not a function and Cannot find package 'mem-fs' family of errors: #800 (comment). If you want to help with the diagnosing or resolving of the issue, that'd be lovely - please do!
