Introduction

Hello IT is a fully configurable status item made for IT. It allow system administrators and help desk to provide a simple and accessible application aim to be a front end for first aid.

The application is built by plugins loaded via configuration files. The administrators create and push a global preference for com.github.ygini.Hello-IT domain (via file deployement, MCX, MDM…) and setup the Hello IT app to be launch at login time (LaunchAgent for example).

When the application starts, it add a custom menu in the status bar, without any icon in the Dock. The contents of the menu is built at launch from content from the preference file.
