Idea/Motivation

A simple Chrome extension that will allow people to record their screen and webcam at the same time.

Normally, this type of software costs at least about $100 USD, but it is offered for free, fully open sourced.

Two most popular solutions for this are Screenflow and Camtasia, neither of which is cheap

There is also a free solution which is a Chrome extension that already exists. However it did not quite work well.

Why is it important?

It's important for a video creator in particular to be able to record the screen and webcam at the same time in some situations.

By doing so, and by having these recordings in separate files, it enables them to edit them together in any way they see fit. It's useful for recording a coding tutorial, for example.

Why open source?

By making it an open source project, it enables us to create opportunities to work together with the community, and for the community to practice their technical/collaborative skills.
Is planned to make it an MIT-license project.

What to expect ?

A private Discord channel has been created to coordinate this.
Most of the communi9cations are done in this chanel.People will post ideas, questions, progress updates, etc and YK is there to mentor and guide people .

How to get started?

As we discussed earlier, the first step will be for you to join this private Discord channel.

We may make it open later on, but let's keep it private to begin with.

If we don't hear back from the person who said they're going to work on it for 24 hours, then the task becomes un-assigned again. So if you still want to keep working on it, regular updates are crucial. (We might change this duration later, but let's go with 24 hours for now to see how it goes.)

Thank you for the update. I think the individual ones should simply be removed because they should be visible on the project board page as well as the issues page on the repo.

How is it now ? I also double checked and corrected grammatical errors with ChatGPT. Also, removed the individuals, since during the progress of the project, each task might be moving from Todo to InProgress or to Done, and having access to the project Backlog might be better.
Please let me know if it needs any further modifications :)
