This may already be on your plan, but it would be neat to highlight the appropriate event in the timeline or in the cluster view (can't think of a better name) when the event is highlighted in the other area.
This would help analysts quickly identify the relationship of the item within the cluster as well as where it sits within the correlation timeline.
