Might be good to offer an option to filter messages by length, to prevent long copypasta/ASCII messages from clogging the screen.

(Thought about how I'd love to show my bot's short quippy messages, but filter out the longer command responses with explanations or links, etc)

(Could also filter long messages but only from certain users? I don't mind buttsbot or uwu_twanswator dropping a short message in but when they recreate longer messages it gets obnoxious)

yea that could be a chat widget feature
